With more than 45 years of experience in IT, Scott Ruthe has been building security programs for healthcare and finance for more than two decades. His risk-based approach relies on NIST CSF principles: govern, identify, protect, detect, respond, and recover. Prior to becoming VP of Cybersecurity at Waystar, Ruthe was Chief Information Security Officer for Ciox Health, led information security and business continuity planning (BCP) for Healthcare Solutions and S1, and served as a Cryptologic Technician in the U.S. Navy.

Rajan Odayar has more than 20 years of technology experience in global, large-scale, and complex business transformation initiatives. Specializing in fintech, financial services, and healthcare, Odayar has a proven track record of building robust global security infrastructures for companies with high transaction volumes. He holds an MBA, MS in computer science, CIO/CTO/CISO/COO and CDO 4.0 certifications, and he’s completed executive management programs at Stanford, Harvard, Chicago Booth School of Business, MIT, and Columbia. He is an alumnus of Cambridge, Oxford, Kellogg Business School, and Texas A&M.
