CHALLENGE

Naveris developed a brand new, non-invasive testing technology to detect cancers related to human papillomavirus (HPV). The company bills both commercial and government carriers without a standard CPT code. In this situation, many payers will outright deny claims and not overturn on appeal.

Naveris expects to submit approximately 20,000 claims in 2022 and anticipate that number will balloon to more than 60,000 in the next two years. Despite this expected growth, they don’t plan to hire additional staff.
